The University of Minnesota locally known as the U of M or just the U is a public university found in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. It is among the oldest and largest campus within the university of Minnesota system. It has 19 colleges and schools and other campuses that are located in Crookston, Duluth, Morris and Rochester. The old Minneapolis campus overlooked the saint Anthony falls on the Mississippi river, but was moved down stream to its current location.
